Comfort Hotel Kristiansand

I was quite pleased with everything at this hotel. The receptionist was very helpful at check-in, particularly as the tourist office was closed, and she gave me useful local information. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and provided in a large, relaxed room. The hotel also had a small but well-equipped fitness room, which was appreciated.

The staff was very friendly. My expectation from the hotel and the room were on spot, because the pictures and description of the room were realistic. Room was clean, any request was taken serious and the breakfast was great,

Two best things: location and staff.

Location, just in front of the ferry port and at walking distance from the shopping district and restaurants; very good breakfast, large selection and high quality; good room, large bathroom and shower; free parking on the street between 5pm and 8am

Parking house around the corner. Fast check-in. Great staff, nice room, good breakfast. Good start to explore the center of Kristiansand. I recommend a long hike through Odderoya which offers great views over the sea and isles, beside beacons and bunkers. The Kanonmuseum is some kilometers outside of Kristiansand and offers also some longer walks beside the visit of the big gun.
